Product details
Volovsko Srce (Cuore di Bue) is one of the most famous and prized heirloom tomatoes in the world. Originally from Italy, this legendary variety has been grown for generations in Mediterranean gardens and represents the gold standard of meaty tomatoes.
The fruits are exceptionally large — from 300 to as much as 600g — with an irregular heart shape and delicate, thin skin. The flesh is dense, juicy and almost seedless, with a rich, sweet flavor reminiscent of sun-warmed summer days.
Volovsko Srce is an indeterminate variety, meaning it grows continuously and bears fruit throughout the season. The plant grows up to 180cm and requires support. Ideal for warm climates with long summers.
This tomato was selected exclusively for flavor — not for transport or long storage. That is why it is so superior to commercial varieties.
